Introduction to Ice Hockey
Never played hockey before? No problem! We’ll be delighted to introduce you to this amazing sport and our excellent coaches will teach you all the fundamentals of the game at a pace to suit you, so you don’t need to feel under any pressure to grasp everything first time around! We will take you through core skills of the game such as skating technique and balance, puck control, passing and shooting. We pride ourselves in teaching you in a comfortable environment so that you’ll gain rather than lose confidence.
Player Development at our ice hockey school
Once you’ve mastered the basics of ice hockey, we can help you to enhance those skills to a higher standard with more advanced drills, placing you in an in-game environment so that you can become familiar with the experience of a real-life hockey match. In our player development camps, you will learn how to skate efficiently in all directions, turn at speed, shoot with accuracy, keep tight control over the puck and master your hand-eye co-ordination.
Offense Skills & Tactics
Goals win games, and a great offense can be almost impossible to thwart. We will teach you how to enhance offensive skills like 1-on-1s, 2-on-1s, 3-on-2s, offensive zone positioning, rapid puck movement, quick shots, one-timers and, of course, shooting to score.
Defense Skills & Tactics
A great defense is often the bedrock for major success in ice hockey, and we can help you to master this aspect of the game. We will show you how to enhance skills such as defending 1-on-1’s and 2-on-1’s, defensive zone positioning, puck support and escaping pressure forechecking.
