Daily Sessions Offered:

**Customized to your busy school or work schedule**

  • Non – Prime Time Hours

-Mornings Before School / Work 6:45 – 7:45 AM

-After School / Work 3:00 – 4:00 PM

-Home Schooling – Flexible throughout the day for on ice sessions

-Lunch Hour

-Professional Development Days – Out of School

  • Prime Time Hours

-After 4 pm on Weekdays

-Weekends – Saturdays & Sundays

  • Frequency of Sessions
    • 1 session per month – (Ad hoc development / maintenance)
    • 1 session every two weeks – (Ad hoc development / maintenance)
    • 1 session per week – (Ongoing development – during your hockey season)
    • 2 sessions per week – (Ongoing development – during your hockey season)
    • 3 sessions per week – (Ongoing development – during your hockey season)
    • 5 sessions per week – (Month of August / September)
    • 2 sessions per day – ( Month of August)

Note: Prime time ice is far more expensive and ice times more limited / less available than non prime
time ice. The times and frequency of sessions depends on your hockey budget and aspirations.

Introductory Level: Bronze Program – 8 sessions

  • Ideally suited for the player who wishes to explore the benefits of 1 on 1 coaching and experience some initial results. Improve your skating skills such as: stronger edges, better knee bend, improve forward striding and backward skating etc. This introductory level will provide an opportunity for Coach Rex to discover if we can work together on a more long term basis.

Half Season Level: Silver Program – 16 sessions

  • Ideally suited for the player who wishes to explore the benefits of 1 on 1 coaching and experience more continued results. Additional hours of deliberate practice will provide an opportunity to work on a broader range of skating and hockey skills. An opportunity to strength an ongoing development relationship with Coach Rex for an extended part of the overall hockey season.
  • Besides skating and hockey skills development, Coach Rex will share many sports psychology / mental toughness techniques and tips as well as video skill analysis to improve a player’s skills.

Full Season Level: Gold Program – 24 sessions

  • Ideally suited for the player who wishes to explore the benefits of 1 on 1 coaching and experience more continuous and elevated results. An opportunity to develop a consistent development relationship with Coach Rex for the hockey season and enhance the technical, tactical and Hockey IQ aspects of a player’s game.
  • Besides skating and hockey skills development, Coach Rex will share many sports psychology / mental toughness techniques and tips as well as video skill analysis to improve a player’s skills.
  • Provide self development materials including hockey related books, videos and exercises.
  • Scouts and analyzes ad hoc player games and offers constructive coaching playing tips.

Hockey Career & Mentoring Level: Platinum Program – 32+ sessions

  • Ideally suited for the player who wishes to explore the benefits of 1 on 1 coaching and experience hockey career benefits and results. An opportunity to develop a permanent development relationship with Coach Rex for many ongoing years – to tweak technical, tactical and Hockey IQ aspects of a player’s game.
  • Coach Rex works with the aspiring player on a regular / on going basis from season to season.
  • In the past Coach Rex has guided and mentored players from the early ages of 7 to 8 years old to Quadrant and Junior A levels of hockey. The 1 on 1 program can evolve into a long term commitment and hockey development relationship experience.
  • Besides skating and hockey skills development, Coach Rex shares many sports psychology / mental toughness techniques and tips as well as video skill analysis to improve a player’s skills.
  • Provide self development materials including hockey related books, videos and exercises
